We just returned from our 2nd trip and shoot in the Copper Canyons of Northwest Mexico where we finished the bulk of production on a new documentary tentatively titled “El Chivo.” Here is a trailer about the main character Will Harlan.
Here is a short film Adams Wood (and our collective jam Industrious Productions) and I were commissioned to make this for a local non profit Bagel making/world saving company. It was shot on the AF-100 and the 60d with a small variety of lenses. The music we used is from Fivehead, Dan Cray and Jason Smith. We screened it last month in front of a pretty close to full-house during a Home Free Bagels party at the Fine Arts Theatre (Thank you Neal) in Asheville, NC.
Here is a short film I made about a good pal’s wet plate photography group and their annual summer gathering. These five people have been spending one week a year hanging out, working on wet plate photography, honing their 18th century craft all while jokingly harassing each other, ad nauseam for the last 8 summers. They call themselves The Master Platers (http://www.masterplaters.com) and they have a collective gallery show in Baltimore, Md (http://www.ccbcmd.edu/adim/galleries.html) running through November 22nd. Check out their show if you are in the area or have a wild travel hair.
Music from Dan Cray, John Hunt, Rob Fields, Beck and Fivehead.
It seems most days we are shooting a new video or finishing up an edit on another. We will frequently update this blog with the latest film, video or project we are working on.
I worked on a feature doc for a Portland Oregon production company about a single mom who wants to be a professional MMA fighter. This is her first fight. Music from Dan Cray, Rip Haven and Fivehead.
